"TARA" is an automatic voice response
service that provides access to your Cal State L. A. Federal
Credit Union accounts 24 hours a day from any touch-tone phone.
This FREE service lets you conduct a variety of account transactions,
and it's easy to use. Call TARA at (323) 505-2609 to:
- Get balance inquiries on shares, loans and
certificates
- Request check withdrawals to be mailed to
your address of record
- Transfer funds between share accounts or
to make a loan payment
- Obtain deposit, withdrawal and payment history
on all your accounts
- Arrange a Line of Credit Advance.
How to Use TARA
TARA responds to telephone keypad entries
to answer your questions and conduct the transactions you
request. IMPORTANT: Always press the pound key (#) after each
entry to let TARA know you have finished entering a number,
transaction code or amount.
- Call (323) 505-2609 from any touch-tone
telephone.
- Enter your account number and press the
# key.
- Enter your PIN number and press the # key.
- Enter transaction code and press the # key.
- You may be asked to enter your two-digit
share suffix number
enter it and press the # key.
- Enter the dollar amount of your transaction
and press the # key. Do not enter the decimal, i.e., $816.52
is entered as 81652#.
- To end your session, simply enter
99#.
You can customize your
TARA PIN
TARA and Debit/ATM PIN numbers can be
different. Ask us how to customize your TARA PIN.

To make a correction
If, at any time, you enter the wrong information and
want to re-enter it, press the Star Key twice,

To Repeat
Press the * Key, then the #
Key, to repeat the last message.
To Pause
Press the * Key during any inquiries,
prompts, etc., to make the system pause. This is especially
helpful when you are trying to write down information.
To Key Ahead
You may "Key ahead" any time during the telephone
session by entering the next function code without waiting
for a voice prompt from TARA.
