Direct Deposit
With Direct Deposit, your payroll check or government benefit
check (i.e., Social Security) is deposited directly into your
Credit Union Account… safely and electronically! To arrange
this service, check with your employer's Payroll Department
(State of California Employees click
here). You will need the Credit Union's Routing Number/Transit
Number, which is on the bottom of your checks. Or, call (323)
505-2600 for this information.
Payroll Deduction
With Payroll Deduction, a set amount from your paycheck is
automatically deposited into any Credit Union Loan or Savings
Accounts you designate. CSULA Payroll Deductions are posted
on the 10th of each month. Please contact your employer's
Payroll Department to arrange this service (CSULA employees
click here).

- With Direct Deposit, your account is exempt
from the quarterly Maintenance Fee.
- Worries over lost or stolen checks are eliminated.
- You can access deposited funds through checking,
Visa® Debit/ATM Card,* HFS Online Banking/Bill Payer,*
by phone or mail, or in person at the Credit Union.
- Use it to establish systematic savings plans
for college tuition, home improvement, retirement, etc.
- Automatic loan payments ensure timely, effortless
repayment, protecting your valuable credit.
- And, with Direct Deposit there is NO HOLD
ON YOUR FUNDS, so your accounts can start earning dividends
the same day you're paid.

Automatic Savings
Transfers
Automatic transfers from your Credit Union Member Share Savings
or Checking Accounts can be arranged to:
- Make CSULA-FCU loan payments
- Cover NSF items in your CSULA-FCU Checking
Account.
- Make deposits to other CSULA-FCU savings
accounts, such as IRAs or Certificates.
- By law, such transfers from Member Share
Savings Accounts are limited to six (6) per month).
Overdraft Protection
Via Share (Savings) Transfers
- Up to six (6) transfers per month
- Transfers occur automatically as needed
to cover NSF items, as long as funds are available.
- Sign up for this FREE service when
you open an account, or call (323) 505-2600.

for Direct Deposit and/or Payroll Deduction assistance. CSULA
employees may obtain Direct
Deposit and/or Payroll Deduction
forms from the Credit Union or the CSULA Payroll Department.
